Offchain Maintance Score
The Offchain Maintenance Score is a rating between 1 and 3 that reflects the level of offchain involvement required for a protocol or system to operate:
- 1: The system can function with minimal offchain support, such as deploying a frontend application or interacting directly with the dapp.
- 2: The system relies on complex offchain components, such as keeper bots, to maintain stability. This category also includes the use of nodes or similar infrastructure.
- 3: The system requires active administrative oversight for critical functions. This includes protocols where a trusted role must manage operations like minting and burning tokens (e.g., stablecoins).
